Schwalbe have updated one of their most popular tyres, the Nobby Nic, to create a true All Mountain tyre.
Popular with XC racers and Enduro races alike, the third generation of the Nobby Nic has been developed to increase the ease of tubeless setup, strength, and dependability in loose terrain.
The casing is “Tubeless Easy”, with Snake Skin side walls. For the rider, that means faster tubeless inflation and greater resilience to sidewall cuts. All tread knobs were redesigned or refined for their position, size or shape.

The new Snake Skin sidewall protection has shown to have 85% greater cut resistance than a tyre without it – surely something that will suit many Australian riders.

As with any Schwalbe line, there are lots of options. The new Nobby Nic is available in various models, as we have come to expect.
In 26, 27.5 and 29 inch diametres there are options with Tubeless Easy, Double Defence and Liteskin. Best of all the weights are competitive for full bodied tyres. A 26×2.35” tyre is 645g, or 685g and 725 for 27.5” and 29” variants. Narrower models are also available.
