Sunshine and rain - Day 2 of Cannonball

It was simply a matter of time before the rain interrupted proceedings and today was that day. After a brief couple hours of practice, the weather gods turned it on. The dark rain clouds that had been stalking the valley all morning opened up at midday and they have not stopped since. Appropriately the Thredbo crew called off the days proceedings instead the Flow and the Downhill now move to Sunday, the classic race day.

Riders have been chilling in the pub, participating in a trackstand comp, collecting prizes or even getting a signature from their favourite rider. With naught to do but wait till tomorrow, we can only hope that the rain eases up soon and the racing can continue.
