E*thirteen announces sponsorship of Hutchinson-UR Team

Headed into the first World Cup Downhill race of the season, e*thirteen is excited to announce it’s partnership with the UCI Elite Hutchinson-UR Downhill Team.

The Team will showcase the talents of 2013 World Championship Silver Medalist Mick “Sik Mik” Hannah and his sister, current Australian National Champ, Tracey Hannah.

Racer and Manager Fabien Cousiné states “being the owner of the Hutchinson-UR and Polygon UR team with 8 athletes and 10 staff fills up quite a lot my schedule, riding world cup DH is also more and more demanding each year, so doing both is not really the most reasonable choice but this choice is about passion and not reason. The 2014 season will be a challenge and I will give my best to pull off some good results doing what I love the most; trying to go as fast as possible on my mountain bike!”

We have been working with the team on drivetrain for a few seasons, and I was excited to have the opportunity to expand the program to include wheels this year,” stated Chris Costello, head of e*thirteen sponsorship.

The Team will be running the full LG1 product line: chain retention devices, cranksets, chainrings, and wheelsets.
