EAST KOWEN TRAILS RE-OPEN THIS WEEKEND!

Since early May, East Kowen Forest has been closed for renovations (in the form of forest thinning). The majority of this work has now been completed and the logging crews have moved their tree eating machines elsewhere. For as many months, the intrepid trail building team of Paul Cole and the Kowalski Brothers have been putting in the hard yards to recover the trails affected by this work. We are pleased to advise today that all trails have been cleared and the land manager has given the go-ahead to reopen the forest for riding*.

*Our trail team will be working on trails below Orchard Road this Saturday (Circle Work, Number 2, Tanglewood, etc), which should see all affected trails uncovered and ready to roll. If you see us, be sure and say hello (better yet, stop and lend a hand).
