Behind the cover: Issue #146

AMB issue 146 is the Alpine Issue, showcasing some of the best the Snowy and Alpine regions of Australia have to offer. So it was only fitting that whilst we were down in Thredbo for the Cannonball Festival that we seek out a cover photo that reflected the long standing passion the alpine regions of Australia have for mountain biking.

Teaming up with local Thredbo Bike Patrol rider Timmy Windshuttle and photographer Tim Bardsley- Smith we headed out in search of the unseen and unknown. Here are a few pictures from behind the scenes from backroads on troupees to getting lost above the snow line.
