Sea Otter Starts with a Bang!
The inaugural Sea Otter Australia Summit.
Before the racing and expo kicks off at the Bateman’s Bay Sea Otter HQ, a group of dedicated behind the scenes drivers have been meeting for the inaugural Sea Otter Australia Summit. With guest speakers featuring a range of experiences from tech innovation to land management, the psychology performance and inclusivity, it’s been an exciting and engaging two days of motivating speakers and group panels to investigate new and exciting mountain biking ideas.
Tonight, the official 2025 Land Managers Awards for Excellence in Recreation was also announced.

- Excellence in Recreation Infrastructure Winner: NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service
- Excellence in Recreation destination management (promotion and maintenance) Winner: Dorset Council, Tasmania
