Goldstone and Hemstreet Return to Defend Red Bull Hardline Titles in Tassie

And yes, we’re already counting down the days.

Red Bull Hardline Tasmania is rolling back into Maydena in February, and the 2026 edition is already shaping up to be huge. The big news? Canadian heavy hitters Jackson Goldstone and Gracey Hemstreet will be lining up again to defend their Tasmania titles from 7–8 February.

They won’t be alone on the start list either. The rest of the 2025 podium crew is locked in, with Asa Vermette, Troy Brosnan, Charlie Hatton, Rónán Dunne, and Lou Ferguson all confirmed.

More riders will be announced soon, but even this early list feels like Hardline’s greatest hits.

Red Bull Hardline Tasmania Course Upgrades

Hardline Tasmania’s course is getting a serious shake up for 2026. The top section has been rebuilt to hammer riders with more technical features and supersonic speeds. Red Bull is claiming riders will hit 80 km/h, and honestly, we believe them.

The other significant change: spectators will have full track access this year, an exciting addition addition for spectators wanting to get close to the action.

Tassie’s Tourism Minister Is Fired Up Too

Tasmania’s Minister for Tourism, Hospitality and Events, Jane Howlett, summed it up pretty well:

“The best of Tasmania will be beamed to people across the globe when the top riders in the world, along with thousands of spectators, descend on Maydena Bike Park in February. Red Bull Hardline has secured a place on the must-do list for hundreds of competitors, and we can’t wait to host them again,”

Hard to argue with that. Maydena has been building momentum for years, and Hardline has cemented it as one of the world’s most serious gravity destinations.
