Last year we offered a prize for a trip for two to Switzerland - here's what the winners got up to.
Last year we put on one of the biggest subscription prizes we have ever put together, with flights for two, first class rail passes, bike hire and hotels for a week-long trip to Switzerland. The prize would let the winners visit Grindelwald and Zermatt - but with a ticket that could be booked for 12 months it was pretty open ended for what the winners could do with it.
Andrew and Katrina from Launceston won the prize, and visited this last August.
From riding Route 1 above Grindelwald, to even racing the Eiger Bike Challenge, their time in the Bernese Oberland looked great, riding beneath the north face of The Eiger.
Across to Zermatt and the crew at Bike Arena made sure they had more nice trail bikes to ride on the high trails above the ski town - plus they had time to become friends with some of the black-nosed sheep.
Andrew and Katrina added in some of their own locations as well, including Davos in Graubuenden, known as the Home of Trails.
We are stoked to see they both had a great time overseas. It's a good reminder that when you subscribe to AMB and enter to win a prize... people do actually win!
