Chicks in the sticks returns this August

The Chicks in the Sticks Women’s 3hr enduro, hosted by Rats Cycling Club, is on again this year at Karingal Scout Camp, Mount Cotton, Queensland (approx. 30 mins south of Brisbane).

After the huge success of last year’s inaugural race, this year the entries have been flooding in!

To be held on Sunday 28th August, Chicks in the Sticks, sponsored by Just Ride Nerang, the biggest Specialized Bikes Concept Store in Queensland, is a fun event with solo and team race categories, for beginners right through to regular racers, ages 7 and up!

The track is just over 6 km long with approx 110m of climbing per lap.

It is an exciting and fun mix of flowing singletrack and wide fire roads with plenty of places for overtaking if you are worried about being a bit slower than some other riders. It is a “no pressure” event encouraging riders of all levels to participate and have fun! (There is even a best dressed prize too amongst the podium prizes!)

Why not make a weekend of it and camp near race base the night before?
