Win a custom Bike Bag Dude bikepacking kit!

If you're bikepacking curious, you'll understand that having the right way to carry your gear on your bike will make the whole experience a lot more fun. Kedan Griffin is the mad-keen rider behind Bike Bag Dude, an Australian company making custom bikepacking bags by hand right here in Australia. Kedan creates custom bags for riders around the world, and with bikepacking growing in popularity here in Australia, more riders are seeking out the right equipment for the adventures by bike.

“We have sent gear to over 25 countries and regularly send gear to the States and Europe,” stated Kedan when asking about where you'll find his gear. “The States would be my biggest market behind Australia - I seem to have a cult like following over there.”

While Kedan does make stock items, he also does completely custom work. This allows him to make frame bags or otherwise for just about any bike design, and in colours or patterns that suit riders, their bikes, and their personalities. It's a level of service that isn't easy to find elsewhere.

“The custom process and colour choice is definitely a big feature of what I do, but the main reason I do so well is the bags I make are a step above what is available anywhere else. I am the only person in the world that seam tapes their gear to keep water out. To me the main requirements for bags used for bikepacking and other adventures are volume and dryness — I seem to be in front of other builders in respect to these two details.”
