RECIPE: Protein Bites
Need a snack that will keep you filled up for longer? Try these tasty protein bites.
Ingredients
2 cups dried dates
1 Tbs cacao
2 Tbs protein powder
1/2 cup almonds, chopped
1/2 cup coconut
Extra coconut for coating bites
Method
- Roughly chop dates and place in a bowl of boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain and place ion food processor.
- Add cacao, protein powder, almonds and coconut to processor and blitz until combined.
- Roll protein bites into ball shapes and coat in extra coconut.
This recipe makes approx. 20 protein bites.
