Ground Effect Presto Sports Bra: $49

Presto

Initial impressions on the Presto sports bra was ‘wow, that’s small. And basic’. I definitely had our reservations when opening the package.

Being unendowed in the chest area, small sports bras are pretty much the go for all aspects of life (from formal functions to running, it’s all about the sports bra), and as such, a search for the holy grail of sports bras has been a life-long quest.

Perhaps the quest has been wrong, and chasing technical fabrics and cute colours has been the wrong thing to do, because as unassuming as it is, the Presto is a very comfortable sports bra.

Despite it looking like it would fit a pre-pubescent, the small size was perfect, the fabric was soft, and everything stayed where it needed to be.

That being said, I care little about ‘uni-boob’, but even if I did, the Presto offers a more realistic looking…errr, chest region than many of the highly compressive sports bras on the market.

For smaller busted women this bra would be perfect for low to high-impact sports, but perhaps those with more to move would struggle with support, however, most larger-busted women require more support than a standard sports crop.

All in all, a nice offering that ticks all the right boxes, though the Presto is probably not appropriate formal attire.

Hits: 4-way stretch lycra, racer-back cut, great materials, comfort.

Misses: It’s basic. Like, pac-man basic.

RRP: $49
