FIRST LOOK: GT Helion Carbon Pro

GT have a new suspension platform for this year - and the Helion Carbon Pro looks set to deliver.

GT have a long history of making bikes, and especially bikes that are fun to ride fast. Fun and fast – those two things go together really well!

We’ve got a GT Helion Carbon Pro on test for Issue 148. It’s a 27.5″ wheeled, carbon main framed, 110mm travel trail rocket. Looking at the bike, it’s great to see the weight focused really low, and the suspension takes a bit of thinking about but thankfully GT’s video helped with that, also explaining their Angle Optimised Suspension (AOS) for the rest of the range.

We will have a full test in our next issue, but for now we’ll just have to leave it to Wil Barrett to get the most out of the bike. Which it looks like he is!
