We had five trail bikes on test for Issue 146: The Alpine Issue. Make sure you grab your copy to see what we thought.
Today, Thursday 5th February, Issue 146 of Australian Mountain Bike magazine goes on sale. It's the Alpine Issue, with much of the content coming from alpine regions around the world. Almost all of our bike tests were done in the Australian high country, and we tested five great trail bikes that are about $5000. That's a whole lot of cash, but you get a whole lot of bike too.
We played with a Trek Remedy 9 29er, A Whyte T-130, A Giant Trance X1, A Specialized Rumor Elite and Lapierre TR529.
Make sure you go and grab an issue to see what we thought of each model. And if you don't want to miss the next one, you can subscribe. Photos by Andrew Railton, Tim Bardsley-Smith and Robert Conroy
